Disk Drive Connectors   Industry Electrical / Electronics Material Stanyl® TE250F6 - PA46-GF30 FR(17)   Processing Technology Injection Molding Description High temperature reliability and cost effectiveness in thin walled parts Stanyl TE250F6, a multipurpose 30% glass reinforced flame retardant UL grade with a UL VO rating, provides easy processability, excellent flow at hot water mold temperatures, and short cycle times for disc drive connectors. Stanyl displays excellent tensile strength, good insulation resistance, and a high stiffness level maintained all the way up to its melting point of 295ºC while also showing good creep resistance at elevated temperatures. Above 140ºC Stanyl's stiffness and creep modulus performance is superior to PPS, PEI and PES with similar levels of glass loading. In addition, Stanyl TE250F6 is UL approved for 100% regrind which increases the saving for injection molders and OEM's. It can be used in parts with thin-walled sections down to 0.1 mm without flashing.
