| Description | A variator clutching system transmits power from the engine to the rear wheel by operating the accelerator control on the handle bar of a two-wheeler acting as an automatic gear box. It instantly selects the suitable gear ratio that the weight of the vehicle and road conditions demand. In this system the variator cover roller moves outward with the centrifugal force in the primary sheave assembly
and creates space between the two parts of the sheave assembly. It also alters the pulley diameter, thus altering the gear ratio. StanylŪ TW341 offers excellent resistance to wear, automotive fluids, and heat for the variator cover rollers. Using StanylŪ provides extended life, 6000 kms as compared to 3000 kms for Polyamide 6 & 66, for this application. |
